Our Director Andy Reed is attended his final Board meeting with the Sport and Recreation Alliance today. After 8 years on the Board and six as Chair Andy said it wasn’t the end of a long association with the body having been made a Life Member in 2008 for services to sport and now having been appointed as a Vice President.
Andy said “I first came across the CCPR whilst in Parliament and they helped me introduce the 10 Minute Rule Bill on CASC scheme which still brings benefits to community clubs. I have helped ever since In various roles.
“I will miss being involved so regularly but I will still be helping the sector through the Sports Think Tank in partnership with the SRA and others.
