Saje Impact is delighted to be working with Icon Training on an exciting project, assisting the leisure operator BH Live to provide 18 months of training to motivated members of their staff.

Following a rigorous selection process 25 lucky staff members were admitted to the course and split into two cohorts. The course kicked off in January but last Thursday saw the first classroom session take place in Bournemouth, and a chance for the two cohorts to get to know each other better.

Andy Reed OBE has been retained as lead tutor on the programme, and he led the first unit, taking the first cohort of BH Live staff through the intricacies of personal development. He ran a lively, interactive and open session revealing the importance for every individual to take stock of their own development as professionals and people.

Later, Adam Paker, Saje Impact Associate, took the second cohort through a deep-dive into information-based decision-making - a key skill to any professional and an easy one to get wrong. The session combined some technical reflections on decision-making models with entertaining group work and collective discussions on how to turn data into information, and information into appropriate decision-making.

The initial feedback from the students and Icon staff alike was positive and Saje Impact looks forward to continuing to help these talented students on their 18 month journey of learning.
